Snisarenko Gallery opens new Beverly Hills exhibition space with First Light, Beverly Hills, a two-artist show featuring Ukrainian painters Liza Zhdanova and Eugene Lisniak. Longtime friends and classmates from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts, the artists reunite in California for their U.S. debut, presenting side-by-side abstract works rooted in emotion, nature, and personal transformation.
Inspired by the soft light and lush landscapes of Beverly Hills mornings—where rose gardens, jasmine, bougainvillea, and orchids bloom among palm trees and pines—the exhibition invites viewers into a visual dialogue between movement and stillness, color and memory.
Zhdanova’s Flowers series (2025) bursts with energy and symbolism, while Lisniak’s textured compositions, including his never-before-shown Self Portrait, offer quiet introspection. Together, their works speak to a shared journey of identity and renewal.
First Light, Beverly Hills is available by appointment only.
