Or is a whole made of fragments? Kyle Ranson (b 1969, New York City, New York) is a painter, sculptor and musician, He lives and works in Oakland, CA. Kyle Ranson began to draw and paint in early childhood. He attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and In 1994 he moved to San Francisco and immersed himself in the art and music scene in the Mission.. Ranson has exhibited since 1998 He has shown in New York, MIlwaukee, London, Barcelona, San Francisco,. and Los Angeles. The Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive acquired his series "Morphtraits" made in collaboration with Daniel Higgs.He has created several album covers for O'Sees, and a tarot deck, and put out a tarot deck with Castle Face Records.
