GAG! presents VIDEO Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 6pm PST (https://heavymannerslibrary.com/events/gag-presents-video) This night was created to honor video artists and highlight a medium that is starting to see more light in the art world and GAG! seeks to be at the forefront of exhibiting video artists from LA and different parts of the world. With a line up of artists using video in all forms from experimental video to short form films/videos and covering everything from identity, displacement, spectatorship, and cultural history’s, GAG! Presents Video will provoke you to participate 24 frames at a time. As the first installment of the "GAG! presents..." series, GAG! will highlight an array of artists and mediums, helping find ways to exhibit and install their works. GAG! Is a interdisciplinary art collective based in Los Angeles. GAG! (GALLERY Attendants’ GALLERY seeks to make us gag, to disrupt, and recalibrate. GAG! Has no end or beginning. We never say hello, we never say goodbye. Formed by the chance encounter of working at the same museum (MOCA), GAG! Is a direct response to the contemporary art world.
