Special Art Buzz: Maryam Jafri in Conversation with Jamillah James + Tour Friday, June 28th 5:00pm — 7:00pm For the closing weekend of Maryam Jafri’s exhibition I Drank the Kool-Aid but I Didn’t Inhale, Maryam Jafri will join ICA Curator Jamillah James to discuss her process using research and interdisciplinary approaches to make work of conceptual inquiry on such perennial subjects as consumer culture, representation, economics, and politics. The discussion will be part of a tour of Jafri’s exhibition followed by refreshments and light snacks.
